How Do I Join?
Music Club is free and open to anyone of any class and major. It's as easy as showing up to a club meeting and checking it out! To join, just drop by on Thursday between 7 and 9pm at Kerckhoff Hall, Room 152. Check out our Meetings & Workshops page for more detailed information about our weekly meetings.

Do I have to audition?
No! There are no auditions in music club or any required performances. You don't even have to play an instrument, you're welcome to come hang out and just listen to music.

What does Music Club do?
Acoustic Jam:
Inside, we have an acoustic jam. You can bring your own instrument or use one of our club instruments, which includes an acoustic guitar, bass, cajon, keyboard, shakers, and tambourine. We chat about music, play songs, and have a great time!
Electric Jam:
Outside, we have an electric jam. We provide a drum kit, amps, mics, and an electric guitar and bass and encourage you to bring your own instruments! Join the jam and take a turn playing any instrument you like!
Workshops & Events:
We host free workshops on a variety of musical topics taught by fellow undergrad and grad students! We also put on a variety of events each quarter, including Band Night and collaborative events with other . Check out our past and upcoming workshops and events here.

What does Music Club have to offer?
Connections and Bands:
At Music Club, you will meet many of the student musicians that are active in the Westwood music scene. You'll meet drummers, guitarists, singers, bassists, violinists, producers, and others, who are all excited to be jamming with their peers. Many of the Westwood/UCLA bands formed via Music Club!
Performance Opportunities:
Music Club puts on events like Band Night every quarter, and members of the club get priority to perform. We are in contact with many of the organizers of the Westwood music scene, and pass those opportunities along to our members.
Friendships:
Music Club is a supportive, open and creative community where all are welcome. Many of us have met some of our best friends at club meetings!
